LYNCHBURG, TN (May 4, 2024) – The Motlow baseball and softball teams enter the TCCAA Region 7 softball/baseball tournament this weekend. The tournament this year is hosted by Columbia State.
As the No. 8 seed, the Motlow Baseball will play No. 9 Volunteer State Saturday, May 4th at 4:00 p.m. In the regular season, the Bucks hold 1-1 record against the Pioneers. If they win, they will play No. 1 seed Walters State on Sunday, May 5th at 1:00 p.m.
The men’s championship game will be on Wednesday, May 8th at 4:00 p.m. If that game is the loser’s first loss of the tournament, the duo will play again on Thursday, May 9th at 1:00 p.m. to determine the champions.
As the No. 6 seed, Motlow Softball plays on Sunday, May 5th at 5:30 p.m. If they win, they advance and play the winner of Roane State/Columbia State and Chattanooga State on Tuesday May 7th at 2:30 p.m. If they lose, your Lady Bucks enter the loser’s bracket and play the loser of Game 4 for another chance to advance to the championship game.
The women’s championship game will be on Thursday, May 9th at 12:30 p.m. If that game is the loser’s first loss of the tournament, the duo will play again on Thursday, May 9th at 3:00 p.m. to determine the champions.
