Mary Bradley pitched a complete-game shutout, and the Motlow Bucks collected 14 hits in a 7-0 win over Columbia State in Columbia on Wednesday. The game was not a TCCAA contest.
Motlow (9-12, 4-4) has now won five consecutive games. The Bucks travel to Chattanooga State (16-7, 3-5) this weekend for a four-game series beginning Saturday at 2 p.m.
Bradley (3-5) was spectacular, striking out 12 and allowing only five hits and two walks.
The Bucks offense gave Bradley the early lead with a run in the first inning, then added two more in the third, fourth, and sixth innings.
Jordan Lund had four hits with two stolen bases and two runs scored. Lund leads the conference with 19 stolen bases.
Allie Anderson had a home run with two hits and two runs scored. Hannah Foster had three hits with two doubles. Savanna Beard had two runs batted in and two stolen bases. McCenzie McAnally drove in two runs with a double.
