The Motlow Bucks women's basketball team's scheduled game against TCCAA rival Chattanooga State on Wednesday, Nov. 16, has been canceled.

The Bucks (0-5, 0-2) fell to visiting Itawamba (MS) Monday night 91-40. Motlow fell to Volunteer State 59-36 in their conference home opener Saturday afternoon.

Motlow trailed 15-7 at the end of the first quarter against Volunteer State but made up ground in the second quarter to head into the intermission down only 30-19. It was as close as the Bucks would get though, with the visitors extending their lead to 47-27 by the end of the third quarter.

Morgan Webb, a sophomore from Knoxville, and Destiny Russell, a freshman from Winchester, led the Bucks in scoring with 14 points each. Both Russell and Webb hit three 3-pointers to go along with a 2-point basket.

Jheilaa Thomas and Erica Clifton each had three points, although Thomas sat out the second half with an ice pack on her back. A'Maria Thomison added two points, and Jordan Lund and Savannah Beard each played but did not score.
