Women's Soccer Team Opens Season with Two Home Games 

The Motlow State women's soccer team kicked off their regular season with two home games this past weekend.  

Match Highlights 

17 Motlow State vs. #14 Eastern Florida

• The match against the #14 ranked Titans was a challenging start, with Eastern Florida scoring an early goal that proved to be the decisive factor.  
• Despite the #17 ranked Motlow State Bucks registering more shots on goal, they were unable to convert any into points. 

17 Motlow State vs. Calhoun 

• The Bucks rebounded impressively, dominating Calhoun with an 8-0 victory on Saturday afternoon.  
• Key Players
  • Teresa Kahlmann: Scored 1 or her 2 goals to ignite the scoring. 
  • Ariana Baxter and Madeling Welham: Each Contributed 2 goals 
  • Ayan Ahmed and Aireona Duenez: Each added a goal to the tally.  

Upcoming Matches

• The Bucks will travel to Iowa this weekend to face Western Wyoming and Iowa Western.  
• They will return home on September 14th to host Columbia State.
